Al B. Sure recently took a moment to subtly weigh in on last week’s hot topicSean Combs. More specifically, Al addressed the public reactions to Diddy‘s arrest on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. His comments come amid his biological son, Quincy Brown, showing up to court twice last week to support Combs through his arraignment and bail appeal.

Here’s What Al B. Sure Shared Amid Diddy’s Detainment

Al first shared his Instagram Live recording on his feed on Sept. 20. He opened his video update with gratitude for his supporters and a thumbs-up on his health.

As mentioned, in July 2022, Al collapsed while working on new music and fell into a coma that lasted until October 2022.  To this day, it’s unclear what caused the coma, but in March, Al seemed to imply that Diddy was involved. While speaking at an award ceremony in Los Angeles, he announced his documentary and stated, “…you’ll really understand how I ended up in a coma; you’re really going to need to call Homeland Security.” Note that just days before, Homeland Security had executed a search of Diddy’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami.

While addressing his fans on Sept. 20, someone asked Al if Diddy “tried to kill” him. His response is the excerpt clip that’s been going around on social media for the last 48 hours. “…You know what’s great about my life right now? All I do is stay in prayer and meditation…Prayer and meditation for the young people, they come first,” he said.

Al B. Sure later added, “…Please understand very carefully, there is zero woo-sah moments. Me talking about situations for more than a decade and a half, and then all of a sudden, everybody woke up like, ‘whoa, yo, we thought you were crazy’….but what I am not is a liar. That I’m not. All I did was give the science, and I was ignored, laughed at, ridiculed, whatever, but that’s okay, my God is so much bigger, my God got me.”

Singer Demands Further Inquiry Into Kim Porter’s Death

Aside from his coma comments, on Monday (Sept. 23), Al B. also publicly called for another inquiry into Kim Porter’s death. Kim and Al were married between 1989 and 1990 and welcomed Quincy Brown in 1991.

By the time Brown was three years old, Porter began dating Combs, and the producer adopted Quincy as his own. Kim and Diddy welcomed their first biological son together, Christian, in 1998. They split the following year but reconciled in 2003 and welcomed their twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie, in 2006. In 2017, they split for good. She and Combs seemingly remained friends and close co-parents until her death in 2018.

Also on Instagram, Al B demanded that California authorities investigate the “entire group of individuals” who worked at or around Kim’s home at the time she died. Swipe below to see his three-part post.

Quincy Recently Opened Up About His Relationship With His Dad

On another note, Quincy has seemingly decided to stick by his late mother’s former boyfriend. Viral photos and videos show Quincy entering and exiting the New York City court last week alongside Justin and Christian Combs.

Earlier this year, after the federal raids of Combs’ homes, Al pleaded with Quincy to “come home.”

Then, amid the media frenzy surrounding his stepdad’s indictment, an interview between Quincy and Angela Yee was also released. In the sit-down, Brown opened up about where his relationship with his biological dad stands. Ultimately, Quincy revealed that they’re attempting to repair the fatherly absence, but he admitted they’re “homies more than anything.”

Brown has yet to react to his dad’s latest comments, though. However, at least 13 celebrities have now come forward with their thoughts, or lack thereof, on Diddy’s legal woes
